In April Ozioma Egwuonwu, founder of the International Day for Dreamers, now known as World Dream Day,  chaired a United Nations briefing on Global Citizenship in Education. During the briefing Ozioma declared the theme for this year’s Dream Day: Dream Different.

World Dream Day calls for the citizens of the world to share dreams, goals and ideas in support of individual and collective transformation. Based upon the three pillars of creativity, collaboration and contribution, Dream Day acknowledges that our dreams are not just for ourselves – our dreams are also for each other.

The theme for World Dream Day this year is Dream Different.

We believe that there are certain dreams…ideas…visions… that will make ALL the difference for what is possible on this planet. It is time for us to activate them. We are inviting individuals, families, businesses and communities to SIGN-UP and participate in World Dream Day.
