Innovation Day: Visionary Futuremaking – A transformative framework for envisioning and co-creating brighter futures
In the global context of many unsettling and unexpected shifts, activating a “desired futures” approach to envision and activate is more critical than ever. Inspired by and grounded in the domains of Futures Thinking and Strategic Foresight, this UN iD presentation by Ozioma Egwuonwu will explore what it means to continue to hope, dream and “do the work” despite uncertainty.
Through inspiring narratives demonstrating the power of creativity and innovation in action, as well as actionable insights, principles, and practices, participants will develop a multidimensional vision for the powerful role they can still play in shaping brighter futures, despite the current challenges of today.
This session aims to empower individuals to embrace the art and practice of futuremaking as a strategic tool to inspire hope, activate latent capacities, and support the cultivation of transformative interventions and promising pathways that shift our current reality towards one of greater possibilities for all.
