Janice Lee Odom is a partner in Bellamy-Fleming Publishing, a company that publishes memoirs, children’s books, some fiction titles, as well as magazines. She hosted has been a radio show host 20 year, hosting the popular Featuring the Arts. Odom serves on the board of Kentucky Entrepreneur’s Alliance, the Red River Council for the Arts, the Powell County Community Foundation, and the Red River Chamber of Commerce as well as being a member of the Clay City Lions Club, the Natural Bridge State Park Association, and the Red River Historical Museum. She is a founding member of Kinfolk Said, the Kentucky Folklife Play.

Odom is currently working with a grassroots organization called Healing the Dream to designate dream centers across the region and lead workshops with a team of dream coaches. The organization will make project funds available to small businesses and organizations. Healing the Dream is proud to partner with other organizations in this endeavor.

Odom is a volunteer grant writer in Powell County, having written grants to fund a Junior Firefighter Program, several arts programs, various business classes, and a community foundation. Through Kentucky Entrepreneur’s Alliance, Odom consults with small businesses throughout the region. She also is involved in event coordinating at Bowen Farm Bed and Breakfast and helped with the organizing of the Rugged Red, Kentucky’s Trail Half-Marathon. Odom is an actress with movie credits, and she is as accomplished singer/ songwriter.
