Christine-Jean Blain is a Writer, Performer and Educator. Whether writing poetry or fiction, she uses words and performance to paint pictures of how things are, or maybe could have been. As an educator Ms. Blain uses her experience, passion and creativity to build a bridge between what is occurring in our world and how it is being used and interpreted by our communities.
After earning a graduate degree in Public Administration and Non-Profit Management, Ms. Blain worked in State and local government for a number of years, before coming to the field of Education. She has taught and facilitated writing workshops through-out the NYC public school system, as well as been an invited lecturer at many Universities and Colleges throughout the country.
Christine is currently living and teaching in Dubai, UAE. Her dream is to use her talent and passion to inspire and ignite the minds that will change the world.
